WATER MITIGATION

Water damage can come from many sources. To name a few of the most common; severe weather, frozen pipes, clogged drains, a bathtub overflow, the list goes on and on.

IAQMs' mitigation process has been highly successful for our clients and is time-tested. It begins with a personal interview with the policyholder. With all the pertinent information in hand, we perform the following:

  · Evaluate damage

  · Extract water from all areas exposed

  · Set equipment that is capable of drying substrate

  · Take moisture readings

  · Take relative humidity readings

Moisture readings and relative humidity readings are taken throughout the process to gauge the dry down process's effectiveness and to document it. A dry-out log is a requirement of most insurance companies.

Many times water loss events are very disruptive to the typical household or business flow. It is not something you want to have done twice. First, with IAQM, your project is done right and right the first time. It is essential to know how your selected water loss provider will respond if something was to go wrong.
