Interesting way to start a business! Just like others in North Texas over the last year or so, our area was visited by mother nature time and time again. I began noticing many homes in the area were getting new roofs. I did not have any missing shingles or visible damage so I just thought we were lucky.

One evening we were hosting a dinner party and one of our guests began talking about his roofing company and what they did. He pointed to my roof and told me I had hail damage. I was skeptical at first because my roof looked fine to me. I ended up calling my insurance adjuster to come out and to my surprise he not only agreed that we had damage, but that we needed a new roof, not just repairs.

A couple of days later, a crew and our friend Jason from the dinner party arrived. By noon my house was stripped of all shingles. By night fall, I had a beautiful new roof. I have a two story office that overlooks my property so I watched these guys do a great job. I spoke with Jason about his crews and he said they had been doing roofing together for 17 years. I mentioned that our company’s might be a good fit together since IAQM does a lot of work in attics and we see roof damage all the time. A few months later we became partners and IAQM Roofing was born.

We have the crews and supervisors and a 5 year written warranty. IAQM carries all the necessary insurances, we are BBB Accredited and listed on Angie’s List.
