UV Protection

Curing Process

Our curing process is a sophisticated system that works in multiple stages over a long period of time. This process yields a coating that will retain flexibility while remaining firm. It is chemical, solvent and dirt resistant, and will deter temperature change.

Solid Matrix Technology (NANO)

Our solid matrix technology with NANO particles eliminates air bubbles upon application leaving an exterior coating that back-rolls like butter and adheres easily to the surface. The result is a brilliantly textured, stucco-like appearance. It's easy to clean and lasts for years.

Micro-Organism Protection

The microorganism protection in the IAQM EC line of coating is effective against bacteria, algae, yeast and fungi. It is an Earth-friendly solution that protects any surface area against harmful microorganisms. We use an exclusive two-pronged approach to remediate boring algae as well as mold and mildew.

Cross-Linking System

EC is a highly sophisticated cross-linking system. EC cross-links with the substrate to form a seamless coating. The entanglement of the chain polymers results in a three dimensional molecule substantially increasing the molecular weight. This makes for a much more durable coating. It is the only ambient cross-linking system that is air, UV and moisture curing. This is the basis for our Continuous Film Technology that wraps the surface to protect it and becomes part of the substrate.

A Two Step Application Process

Following site preparation we apply the prime. EC Prime penetrates into the surface and chemically converts the cellulose into a stable polymer. Its contents repel mold and mildew and prevent re-growth. It also prevents pest infestation in the substrate.

The second phase is to apply the EC to the previously coated surface. It is 71 percent solid, so it will cure to about eight to twelve millimeters. EC's cross-links with the substrate to form a continuous film that is waterproof, highly breathable, resists acid rain, is mold and mildew resistant, and will not chip, crack or chalk for over 20 years.

IAQM Exterior Coating Stucco Textured
