Dry ice blasting is a revolutionary, environmentally safe cleaning technology for the most challenging and the most delicate. Dry Ice Blasting is effective, safe, and requires minimal cleanup. The process is not abrasive, so the underlying material is not damaged, scored, or worn away.
The equipment propels ice pellets at an extremely high rate. When the pellets make contact with a surface, the kinetic energy creates thousands of microscopic “explosions.” This action lifts mold, oil, grease, grime, and other debris away while leaving the surface itself untouched. The amount of the initial equipment cost limits the number of company’s utilizing this revolutionary technology. IAQM owns two units.
