The IAQM Approach

What makes IAQM the best choice for indoor air quality restoration? The difference is our approach.

Clean air is not a sectional science. For too long, the indoor air quality industry has targeted mold (a living organism) like it does asbestos (a non living fiber), isolating sections of structures in an effort to restore healthy environments. A fiber can be contained yet mold spores are everywhere, so containment at best is temporary. From visible black mold to less apparent trouble spots associated with water damage, practitioners thought that ridding a space of contaminated sections was the best way to effectively restore clean air. In real world applications, it just doesn't work that way. We recognize how the industry goes about remediation, and we know what works. IAQM's reputation and its protocols were developed during the 2001 Texas mold claims epidemic by doing a majority of its jobs after other remediation firms had passed clearance, but the building was still considered a sick building (occupants were still getting sick in the building).

Even before the appearance of contamination, the air you breathe at your home or office could be contaminated. Mold is not an isolated contaminate like asbestos. Mold is a spore, and in a contaminated structure, millions of potentially toxic spores float in the air daily and continue to do so until the problem is eliminated. That's where we come in.

At IAQM, we approach air quality honestly. We understand the peril of contaminated air and we've developed the tools to restore clean air efficiently. IAQM offers the industry a fresh alternative to traditional methods of "asbestos" remediation. Through research and development we offer cutting edge decontamination services with proprietary blends of IAQM products and the new addition of the DOD unit. (see the February addition of Building Services Management) Our product line is specifically designed to eliminate all of the chemical and biological by-products associated with Sick Building Syndrome. IAQM can restore many building materials and personal contents to pre-contaminated condition - a feat previously unheard of in the industry.
